The Biggest eBay PlayStation Auction Ever
When you're talking about a PlayStation eBay auction that is priced at $30,000 it had better be the biggest PlayStation auction ever. With some 1,500 PlayStation games, including Greatest Hits and longbox variant duplicates, as well as dozens of pieces of multi-region hardware, rare limited edition versions, promotional materials and dev kits, it lives up to its titular claim. To begin listing here what the PlayStation Museum liquidation auction contains would be futile, so you'll have to click through for the insane (and incomplete) list. The above photo is merely a tiny fraction of what's included. Anyone with thirty-large in cash burning a hole in his or her pocket, desperate for a copy of the Metal Gear Solid Misprint and Barbie Explorer should take a peek. Did I mention shipping was FREE?!

The IT Crowd TV show ,from british to us
One of my new favorite TV shows is The IT Crowd. Its a British comedy show about an understated IT department located in a cruddy basement in a big corprate company. The strange thing is that the first season only had 6 episodes. I felt bad cause I thought the show is going to be canceled but I found out that the show is sort of immigrating to the usa and is going to shoot there, just like the office. I'm having some doubts about the us version. The good news is that some of the producers and the actor who plays Moss will still be on the us version. I would have prefered that they stayed british. The guy who plays Roy is hilarious with his funny accent and the show did have some swearing that will defanitly be cut back in the us version. I quote from the show:
Roy: [singing] We don't need no education.
Moss: Yes you do; you've just used a double negativeor

New Need for speed 11 trailer
Ugh not another teaser site!
The trailer for the new Need for speed is available at www.needforspeed.com seems the new feature would be damage modeling. EA seems to have borrowed the idea from burnout. but seriously I think it could work differently than burnout since this is more of a sim than an arced style game where damage could affect the performance of the car. If the trailer was true this game might be a milestone in car licensing(though the last few scenes seems to be just CG and not ingame like the first rotating scene with the "24" inspired text). What I know from most games that license real cars is that the cars in the game could get damage to an extent but the developers are not allowed to virtually blow up their cars, disassemble them in a big crash or roll their cars up.The last driving games that feature damage was forza 2 and PGR3 and in those games the games wont do the mentioned above. but in this game the cars seem to go all the way.
I think this improvement is better than the last NFS(Carbon) which acutally had nothing new from Most wanted. I also hope they remove that bullet time motion thingy, it seems like EA put that feature in since they desperatly needed to trademark something and its pretty useless IMO .
